Indoor Air Quality
The primary cause of indoor air quality problems in homes comes from the use of cleansers, aerosols, pollens and molds, smoking and allergens. Inadequate ventilation can increase indoor pollutant levels by not bringing in enough outdoor air to dilute emissions from indoor sources and by not carrying indoor air pollutants out of the home. High temperature and humidity levels can also increase the concentrations of some of these pollutants. Our indoor environments are sometimes from 10 to 20 times more contaminated than our outdoor environments. This condition is worsened by constant recycling of polluted air through heating and cooling systems.
Immediate effects of poor indoor air quality may show up after a single exposure or repeated exposures. Symptoms include irritation of the eyes, nose, and throat, headaches, dizziness, and fatigue. Symptoms of some diseases, including asthma, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, and humidifier fever, may also show up soon after exposure to some indoor air pollutants.

AIR FILTRATION SYSTEMS
Over the last 20 years, scientists have been able to perfect how we “screen” out indoor air contaminants and odors with a high quality filter. This technology uses safe and simple processes to remove contaminants.
So how do decide which air purifier or air filtration system is right for your home? Most air purifiers remove dust, dander, smoke and other particles. Some also kill germs and microorganisms, while others also remove gases and odors from the air. A few do it all.
Ken Murray’s Air Conditioning & Heating can help you select the right air filtration system that will meet your specific needs. Our veteran installers will have it running the next day, guaranteed.
I have really bad allergies and the air filtration system that Ken Murray Air put in has made a huge difference. I love my filter!

Ken Murray’s came in and finished up a botched job I had started with another contractor. What a relief! I would recommended that anyone with allergy problems, get one of these air purification systems, and that they let Ken install it!
